About the Speaker
Bassem is a geotechnical engineer with 20 years of experience, involved in the design and delivery of geotechnical works for complex infrastructure projects (tunnels, highways, and railways).
Bassem has large experience with the design and construction Mega Projects (Examples: Doha Metro Project, Elefsina-Patras-Motorway-Greece, Eemshaven Power Station-Holland and Moorburg Power Station, Hamburg - Germany).He has expert knowledge in the support systems and dewatering of deep excavations in urban areas.
Education:
1. Bachelor and Master in Civil Engineering, specialisation in Geotechnics
2. Degree of Doctor (Ph.D) in Geotechnics
